Stuart D. Zimring was born in Los Angeles, California, December 12, 1946. He graduated in 1968 from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. degree, from the UCLA School of Law in 1971 with a J.D. degree, and was admitted to the Bar in 1972. He is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court, Central and Northern Districts of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Zimring lectured in Law for the Los Angeles Community College District from 1973 to 1983. He is a member of the Los Angeles Superior Court Probate Volunteer Panel and Mediation Panel. Mr. Zimring is a Fellow of both the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the American College of Trusts and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. Mr. Zimring serves on the Boards of Directors of a number of non-profit organizations and is the immediate Past-President of the Organization for the Needs of the Elderly (O.N.E.) in the San Fernando Valley. He is also a member of the Beverly Hills Estate Counselors Forum, San Fernando Valley Estate Counselors Forum, San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, State Bar of California, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys. He has published articles and been quoted in a number of newspapers and journals including the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily Journal and the NAELA Quarterly. He is the Co-Author of Tax, Estate and Financial Planning for the Elderly-California Guide, published by Matthew Bender, and has contributed to the Journal of the American Medical Director's Associations, and served as a guest editor for the Journal of the National Geriatric Care Managers Association. He is a frequent speaker on elder law related topics. Mr. Zimring has spoken at the University of Southern California Probate and Trusts Conference, the Southern California Tax Institute, the Law Education Annual Institution, and the Stetson University Law School Special Needs Trust Conference. |

Lewis Schlesinger was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 9, 1946. He was admitted to practice law in 1972 by the California State Bar, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1980, the U.S. District Court, Central District of California in 1972, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California in 1982. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from the University of Southern California in 1968 and his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1971. He has taken post-graduate courses in the Master of Business in Taxation program in the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Southern California. From 1972 to 1992, he was an associate/partner with Volk, Newman, Graella & Karp, Los Angeles, California. Since 1992, he has practiced as a sole practitioner and is of counsel to the Law Offices of Stuart D. Zimring. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Real Property Law and Estate Planning, Trust and Wills sections of the California State Bar. His practice emphasizes probate and trust administration, estate planning, general civil litigation in the areas of real estate and business, landlord-tenant law, representation of secured real estate lenders, including their representation in bankruptcy court proceedings for relief from the automatic stay, collection and enforcement of secured and unsecured obligations, state court receiverships, prejudgment remedies and post-foreclosure unlawful detainer actions. He has had numerous civil court and jury trial experience in the Municipal and Superior Courts and has handled cases on the appellate level. He serves as Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles and Pasadena Municipal Courts., and was a research assistant to Professor Jack Barcal, IRS, "Active Trade or Business Requirement for Estate Tax Deferral: An Analysis", The Journal of Taxation, Vol 54, No. 1 (Jan. 1981), pp. 52-55.

Jennifer C. Moore was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 26, 1981. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2006. She graduated in 2003 from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Theater, and in 2006 with a J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law. Ms. Moore was a member of Southwestern’s Moot Court Honor Program, and received the Balisok Elder Advocacy Scholarship. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Property and Computer Assisted Litigation, and the Exceptional Achievement Award in Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiating. During law school, Ms. Moore externed at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Elder Abuse Division.
